My hallway bathroom has featured some worn and outdated finishes and some less than thrilling details since we moved here two years ago… for instance, although all the fixtures are chrome, the accessories were shiny brass. (WHY?) Also, the advent of liquid soap dispensers and “ergonomic” toothbrush handles have made soap dishes and toothbrush holders obsolete.
