Yes, I have seen all the overachieving elves on Pinterest, too. I chronicle Fergus’s comparatively tame adventures to help build the self esteem of all the other elves out there who can just about manage to remember not to sit in the same place as yesterday.
So we don’t have a “real” elf. I don’t want the hassle. The boys think there is a tiny elf hiding around the house watching to see if they behave. So instead of me placing an elf daily the boys create little traps to catch him. They are successful with that only on Christmas morning…with a note from Santa too 🙂
ooh, it’d be fun if they found little footprints… but no elf!
