My husband doesn’t always appreciate my thrift store finds as much as I do, so today I took photos of some of the things I did NOT buy, so that he would feel more affection for the things I DID.
I did not buy:

These creepy baby weeping angel lamps that would keep any self-respecting Sci Fi fan up at nights

These funky fish vases that don’t go with any of our stuff.

This hilariously tacky fish frame that ALSO doesn’t go with any of our stuff.

This adorable toy that we already own.

This fabulous metal chicken which unfortunately was $20.

THIS very frightening carved and painted coconut.
I did bring home:
A relatively small, tame collection of meaningful things, most of which are going on my Valentine’s Day mantle.
